Mr. Abbandonato has devoted his career to the plastics industry and is one of three original founders of the Corporation. Over the years, he has worked extensively with businesses in the plastic film extrusion and converting (printing) industry. Prior to the start-up of Imaflex, he most notably founded a converting business, J.T. Packaging, which he eventually sold in 1990. Mr. Abbandonato studied business at Concordia University.

Mr. Abbandonato is one of the founders of Imaflex.  He brings deep industry experience, having worked in sales, administration and operations within the plastic film extrusion and polyethylene printing and converting industry for over 40 years.  Mr. Abbandonato has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from Concordia University.

Mr. Dujardin joined Imaflex in 2013 to oversee the commercialization of the Company’s agricultural mulch films, to foster relationships with agricultural growers and distributors throughout the world, and to build a pipeline of new and innovative agricultural products.

He has more than 25 years general management experience, working with Bayer and General Electric in Research and Development, Manufacturing, Financing, New Business Development, Intellectual Property Management and Corporate Ventures. He has worked in Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada and the USA. During this time, Mr. Dujardin led multiple key projects from development to successful market launch in such areas as optical data storage, flexible displays, plastic glazing and control release medical and agricultural devices.

With a Masters and Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Siegen, as well as years of experience managing multiple international engineering groups, Mr. Dujardin has deep engineering expertise as it relates to active ingredients, materials, product development, and manufacturing. He is named as main inventor on more than 75 patent families.

Mr. Phelps is one of the original founders of Imaflex. He is responsible for overseeing and implementing the Company’s strategic operating initiatives, leading its research and development efforts and acting as strategic advisor to the president.

Mr. Phelps began his career at DuPont Canada, where he held increasingly senior positions over a 15-year period, working in such areas as Manufacturing, Product Development, Packaging & Export, Research & Development, and Sales. He subsequently created an extrusion consulting business, Polytechnomics Inc., offering a variety of services including equipment evaluation & design, procurement & installation, training on coextrusion processes, along with strategic advisory support. Mr. Phelps has a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.

Mr. Ripplinger joined Imaflex in 2016 and oversees all Corporate Affairs activities, most importantly providing overall guidance for Imaflex’s investor relations and communications functions. He serves as principal interface with the financial community and is responsible for increasing Imaflex’s profile and visibility in the capital markets, enhancing investor understanding of the Company’s value proposition and building strong, long-term relationships with external stakeholders.

Mr. Ripplinger brings over 25 years of financial experience, holding positions in such areas as Investor Relations, Strategic Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting & Reporting and Activity Based Costing. He has in-depth experience across a broad range of industries, including telecom, broadcast, health & wellness and transportation, working with such companies as BCE, Bell Canada, Bell Nordiq Group, Miranda Technologies and VIA Rail. Mr. Ripplinger holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University.

Mr. Santella joined Imaflex in 2010 and oversees the Company’s finance, accounting and treasury activities. He began his career at Ernst & Young’s Assurance group, where he participated in various audit engagements. He then transferred to their Transaction Advisory Services group, where he partook in mergers & acquisitions, financing and restructuring engagements in various industries, including the plastics and packaging industry. Mr. Santella then joined the Bell Business Markets Business Unit Controllers group at BCE, before joining the Imaflex team as Corporate Controller. He has a bachelor in business administration and a graduate diploma in public accountancy. He is also a member of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec.
