("Imaflex" or the "Corporation") (TSXV: IFX), announces that Mr. Giancarlo Santella has been promoted from Controller to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. "Since joining Imaflex in 2010, Giancarlo led the finance, accounting and treasury activities, playing a key role in the Corporation's financial oversight," highlighted Mr. Abbandonato, President and Chief Executive Officer of Imaflex. "I am confident that we will continue to benefit from his experience and in-depth knowledge of our financial operations as we remain focused on strengthening and growing our business."
Mr. Santella began his career at Ernst and Young's Assurance group, where he participated in various audit engagements. He then transferred to their Transaction Advisory Services group, where he assisted with mergers and acquisitions, financings and restructuring engagements in various industries, including the plastics and packaging industry. Following this, Mr. Santella joined BCE's Business Unit Controller's group, before joining Imaflex as Corporate Controller. He has a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy. He is also a member of the Ordre des Comptables Professionnels Agréés du Québec.
